He’s 3 for 16 behind the arc this year (19%). The team coming into tonight is 36.5%, and that obviously includes his shots.

When they leave him wide open he has to take a few to make the defense come out to him. He constantly works at getting the ball inside to the post. He is an unselfish player.

And he has been a key contributor to the team’s success. However, when he sets up on the perimeter, as often as not he is open - and left open - for a reason.
I’d much rather that he is setting screens fir Tyson Hunter, or passing to Tyson, and not the other way around. BTW: Tyson is shooting 41% from beyond the arc; Schieffelin is shooting 21.4%.

I mean to say that as disciplined as Brad is with his team on the court (roles), he's not going to enable him to hoist if he's not capable. In HS, Sheff was known as a formidable weapon from behind the arc. He doesn't take many so his % isn't as complimentary as a shooting guard.

He only attempted 2 three pointers tonight. It’s really not a big deal. If he doesn’t at least attempt a couple, the defense will collapse inside and have an advantage inside.
