CJ was an absolute stud that game. Even with his toe problem taking away that very top gear he had, he was too much for GT most of the night. He had like 250 yards rushing or something like that. Still pissed he was not invited to NYC for the Heisman ceremony that year. He may not have won, but he deserved an invite.

I looked at the thermometer and called it a liar.
I'm still mad at Kevin Steele for not triple covering #8 on GT on the only 3rd and 10 they had in the whole game. And they threw it to him for an 80 yard td. (I was yelling it from the upper deck, "cover #8!!!!, they're going to throw it to #8!)
He didn't listen.

We lost the game, but GT didn't win it according to their record books. They had to vacate the win a couple years later.
Neither team punted.

I was there. Played at Tampa Fl. In the Bucs stadium. I was so excited as we had not been able to play for an ACC championship for many years. Dabo got us there. We played against Paul Johnson’s #### triple option and could not stop it. They could not stop us. We could not stop them. Unfortunately they had the ball last. GT went into the wilderness for a long time after they fired Johnson. They are finally pulling out. The same would happen to us if we fired Dabo. I’ve been there and seen it. Don’t allow history to repeat itself. For you folks that have come on board since we won our second natty you have no idea.

At 4:00 a.m. Spiller was a beast. Turns out years later Georgia Tech had like 3 ineligible players and had to forfeit the ACC title. Should have been awarded to Clemson!!!

CJ played a Heisman type game. I have not watched that BS since he was left out. My God son played in the GT band that year. CJ was unreal that night. Reggie Bush kinda stuff
