What's best for DJ and Clemson

Maybe this is crazy, but in the off-season, if it were up to me, I'd start developing DJ as a tight end. He will never be an NFL QB but he has the frame and maybe the athletic ability to be a decent TE and possibly make it to the NFL, similar to the way Logan Thomas converted from QB at Va Tech to TE in the NFL.

I'd also advise DJ to dust off his 95+ MPH fastball and play baseball for Clemson. He was a good HS pitcher and probably has a better chance of being drafted in MLB than the NFL and he could be a good pitcher for Monte and help the Tigers over there.

The last thing I saw published was 5.15. That isn't very fast but have you seen Gronk run lately ;)

I agree DJ's best shot at $$$ post Clemson is going to be in baseball. There is absolutely no way anyone will mention him as NFL talent anymore. 95+ mph fastballs alone will take you places.

Thomas was a top TE prospect coming out of high school. He essentially converted back to his natural position in the NFL.
