having to listen to stuff. Then we took a break and the dude took a deal to a lesser charge. Poor guy never knew that at the time we stopped there was no way I'd have found him guilty.

speech impediment that caused him to bumble and stumble all over his words in the court room, but he sure didn't sound confident in what he was telling us. Also, there seemed to be no such issue on the camera footage. All I saw was a cop trying to antagonize a guy with a fast car. My memory is fading on this but I think the guy wisely declined to take the breath test or if he did I don't recall seeing/ hearing a number. The kicker was that the guy was never mirandized. A little research suggest that isn't an automatic out, but is likely what lead to the plea deal.

I didn't mind Toby so much before the post 9-11 pandering, then grew cringe at his songs. Then I read what he did for Haggard, so I appreciate that, but still don't listen to him.
