One more season of 30-50 yds per games and a few TDs is probably dilutive. I think if the Chiefs had won last night and he had been a key contributor it would have been meaningful. I think right now he just misses the HoF.

Maybe if he did something outstanding off the field it would help push him over the top but to me he has had a very good career and it is almost over. It is possible that he doesn't make a team next season.

D-Hops career reminds me of Torry Holt

First few seasons he was the best WR in the league, then just kinda became lost on his teams. Holt might be a top 10 non HOF WR. That might be where Hopkins is right now.

To me his stock started to fall when he started moving around with poor QBs. And getting older and no longer the primary target.

His numbers are dang good.

Almost 1000 receptions, 13000 yards and near 100 TDs.

There is pretty big log jam at wr to get into the HOF. Add to it the new rules and less players are getting in it could be a long time coming if he does get in.
