As teams in SEC make. Our schedule in the ACC in football is at times weak. These are facts.
If SEC has a spot let's go. Huge games. Huge TV markets. Great venues.
JMO but ...Go Tigers!!!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but we don't have that kind of clout ,or that pedigree.

Splitting up football schedules like we do with our divisions is strangling the appeal our league offers. So many teams only once every six years against each other squelches any kind of rivalry developing, and robs fans and players of venues and travel. We could easily assign three annual games per program against key league rivals and mix up all the rest from there to fix it. Twice vs everyone minimum every four years at our 8 games and 14 members. Trade Wake, Syracuse, BC, Louisville yearly for every league team at least twice every four years. Totally within our control to do so. Nuts we don't.

Smart post. FSU and Ga Tech are potential regional rivals, but annually rotating series of games vs. UNC, Va Tech, UVA, others would help Clemson and conference escape from cra6py conference division malaise.

FACT! IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW MANY SPOTS THEY HAVE OPEN, the last time I checked the SEC has not extended an invitation to join their conference, and without that happening, forget it. So there goes your opinion.

The travel for the sec is ridiculous. As a fan that likes to go to away games as well as home games, I’d rather us stay where we are.
I personally don’t care about the money.
IMO, there will soon be a super league of sorts anyway and everything about conferences will change dramatically, at least for football.
