We have the talent when healthy to beat anyone in the country, we might even get ourselves into a position to win the ACC, anything else would be bonus.
Pitt is the test at this point, we need to smack them in the mouth with a big dose of Mafah!
When this team plays together minus special teams we look very dominant. We haven’t had a problem moving the ball but our stupid mistakes really hurt us against Louisville for the first time ever.
We let them smack us in the mouth and never really recovered the way a championship team does and our special teams gave them the game on a platter. It seems like an easy fix so let’s hope we can fix the stupid mistakes.
We have only one ACC game to go, Miami will lose to Wake or Syracuse & SMU still has 3 tough ACC games BC, Virginia & Cal to go and could lose them all.
It takes a lot out of a team to play conference games week after week.
We need to TCB as Elvis still says! Who knew he was still alive in Arkansas preaching and singing the gospel.

No doubt that winning 10 games would be a great year as it would any year. We need to get some guys healthy and can get to those 10 wins and then make it 11 in a Bowl.

I was sold the best is standard. Not good or great. 2-4 losses isn’t great. It isn’t that good.

You’ve been spoiled. Try being proud of your team… they are trying their best. Sometimes that is not good enough. Just ask almost every other team in the country.

Theoretically any team can beat any team on any given Saturday. But I have to disagree that we can compete with any team. We don't have the talent. We have some good talent.
We thought we were playing the number one team, uga. Said team may not make the playoffs. Louisville is a top 25 team. South Carolina is a borderline top 25 team. We were given a correct rank imo of 23. Pitt is garbage, just like va tech. If we don't beat Pitt by 25+ points, then we didn't play well.
So we have yet to beat a top 25 team. We'll most likely get a chance to play a borderline top 25 scar. Say we win. We will have gone 1-2 against good, not great teams. So unless we back into the playoffs somehow and make some noise, this season will have been a disappointment.

10-2 is never a bad season. Good lord. thats where the DDS Gang is today - there will be 10-2 teams that make the playoff every year. We will be one of those teams on most occasions, and occasionally, the cards don't fall and we play a bowl. That's a great year for just bout anybody but Tnet.

we have to consider ourselves unlucky. It will mean we lost a tiebreaker to Miami, a team we didn't play. Miami has also had multiple close and controversial finishes against VA Tech (an overturned Hail Mary) and Cal (a missed targeting call that got them the ball back with under 2:00 to play).
We had one poor game against Louisville, but outside of that, all of our conference wins have been very convincing. I think it's pretty clear we've been the second-best team in the conference this season.
It would be great if Miami falters, but, if not, the season will probably be defined by how we do against South Carolina. If we defeat Pitt and South Carolina convincingly, we will probably end up right on the bubble of the playoff. As it stands now, I suspect we'd miss out by a spot or two, but we'd definitely be in the conversation.

Perfect season = undefeated, win national championship
Amazing season = 14-15 wins, beat the coots, win conf championship, make playoff run (possibly championship)
Great season = 11-13 wins, beat the coots, win ACC championship
Good season = 10 wins beat the coots, make it to ACC championship game, win bowl game
OK season = beat the coots
Bad season = everything else
For me we can have a great season if we win out and get help, but I see it finishing good to OK…
