You are making a great argument for free college. And a university education teaches critical thinking, High school and technical colleges just teach you which lever to pull.

I won’t argue that people with a degree on average make more money in life. I will argue that a college degree is not necessary for success for many people. The most wealthy people I know all have one thing in common. High school grads! I have 3 college degrees but I didn’t become wealthy until I started a blue collar business. I have 4 grand kids. . 3 are in college now. (2 at Clemson). One is a 25 year old high school grad. He started a business and is absolutely killing it at 25. There’s no doubt in my mind he will be the wealthiest of the 4. He also has no college debt!
I’m just saying college is not the answer for everybody. It is for some.
