Is there anyone else that you’re waiting to hear about entering the portal either from Clemson or elsewhere?

I could see Drake Maye hitting the portal to feel out NIL deals. I’m a bit surprised Zaire Patterson or one of the DTs didn’t enter the portal.

In any case, I guess this is college football now. Just have to adapt until the xfer appetite is suppressed once the data proves out the grass isn’t always greener on the other side, it is green where you water it.

I understand that perspective. He still outperformed most people’s expectations this season. I could see him entering the portal to draw offers, maybe even to stay at UNC. Maybe I’m just cynical but I imagine top players (especially with 2+ years of eligibility left) will start to optimize the system for maximum financial gain.

Tony Grimes from UNC (top 30, 5* recruit) just hit the portal even though he started nearly all season. Whew.

to leave UNC. This NIL is ridiculous.

If the Tenn QB commit in HS and coming next year, has an $8 million dollar NIL deal now, heck Maye could probably get more.
