... a 100 mph fastball that knocked the guy unconscious.

I'm sure y'all saw the overthrow he made last week to a guy wide open in the endzone. He hit the stadium (brick) wall way overthrowing the receiver.

One website has had fun all week referring to him chipping the bricks. His unofficial nickname is now Chipped Bricks.

There was a play somewhere in the game and DJ threw to a guy on a down and out except he was covered and it was poorly thrown and it was near the goal line and well it was incomplete
However there was another receiver on sideline wide open underneath just jumping up and down for the ball
He would have gotten first down Easy
The camera caught him looking at DJ and then just dropping his head shaking it back and forth
I swear it the epitome of DJ disappointing his teammates and fans
Long with countless other plays at CU and OSU

Especially after all of this time of many coaches watching him in practice and being convinced that he was absolutely 'the guy', I am convinced some, if not many of the misses and goofs are 100% intentional and he had been helping someone behind the scenes rack up an amazing amount of gambling cash. I think he knows this is the end of football, NIL money, etc. I believe this is his 'retirement' nestegg.

Maybe a tinfoil hat, crazytown take, I won't think less of folks who believe that way - but I think too many professional people have been sold on him off-field for him to just be 'that bad'.
