I do not post much. Mostly I read the forums. I love Clemson and cherish my time there, but the following article hit home as to the caliber of some faculty at this and almost all universities today.
Reserving seats at a function to prevent others from attending is not only very rude and thoughtless, but it is also part of the problem with out society today.
Whether it comes from the right or the left, the act of silencing others opinions is not what education is supposed to be instilling. You are there to teach subjects and enlighten minds. Only someone that knows that their argument will lose is afraid of another's point of view.
I hope there is a great outcry about this and the University takes action to prevent bias on the campus.
