Fair enough. I think DJU will show them how elite he is

this year but I have no problem in them having Howell and King above him at this point.

Nice to see a couple of northern school QBs in the top 5 (Pitt and BC).

Things being said like this about about another elite player, it only causes them to bring there A game every time, or the pressure from the talk can cause them to prove the talkers right. What kind of metal is DJ made of, I'm going with Titanium, and he will shut the talkers up, because DJ will bring his A game every time he lines up behind center!!!!

IMHO, DJ proved himself in the two games he started last season, and if the talkers have forgotten about that, DJ will remind them by getting better every time he steps on the field, and I'm positively sure of it!!!

The "third best" QB in the ACC has the second best Heisman odds. Got it.

Pre season rankings...

Aug 17, 2021, 3:36 PM

... don't mean a whole lot to me but performance once the season begins is EVERYTHING. I believe some are going to be surprised how good DJ really is but I already know as do most of you!!??

OK, I can kinda see tossing Howell a bone as the "old man" and because he can game, but King, really?

Yeah I don’t get all the love for King. After last year and him “staring” in the AAC he shouldn’t be ahead of DJ.

I’d rather have DJ than either of the top two. I believe we could win a championship with Howell but not as big on king

I would take DJ over these 2 as well.

So there’s 4 minutes left in the game and it’s tied. Who do you want to take you 75 yards down the field? He will probably be blitzed, he may have to run for 6 on 3rd and 5, ball security is at a premium. Who you gonna pick? Howell? Is he gonna run for 6 and hang on to the ball? King? Is he gonna turn it over? Jurkovec? Is he mobile enough? I’m taking DJ.

DJU played 2 games while the others played entire season. BUT by end of this season it'll all be different, they gonna see how special he really is. He will finish #1. Go Tigers

You, sir, are all over it!

I have no problem with this

Aug 17, 2021, 7:36 PM

Let DJ start out #3 behind these two and work his way up.

BTW, I'm rooting for King (except against us) because he went to Manvel HS a few miles down the road from where I live. He is a great kid that has really been through a lot even prior to the knee injury.

I'll take ours every day of the week and twice on Sunday!

I understand why D’Urkel King is #2.

Aug 18, 2021, 5:51 AM

He scored one offensive touchdown against Clemson last year. A feat that is borderline impossible for Tha U nowadays. So got to give him ultimate credit for that.
