Four-star 2022 Chesapeake, Virginia safety Sherrod Covil Jr. announced a Clemson offer on Thursday. "Dream offer Alert...Truly a blessing to be offered by @ClemsonFB," Covil posted on social media. Usually how that rolls but we might end up with the better player anyway!

If only we could have gotten them on campus, this has hurt our recruiting.

Read where Starks would have been a 3rd Generation Tiger, getting him on campus had nothing to do with his decision.

Yes both our beautiful campus and the face to face with our awesome coaches has been denied to our recruits. The restrictions have gone on much to long in my opinion.

The shutdown of on-campus visits has hurt most universities not just Clemson. It's something that the team needs to work through until probably June. That means trying to delay the commitment. If the recruit doesn't want to hold off, well then he really didn't have the right interest in Clemson.

No doubt that Florida, Texas and Georgia have had an advantage with the recruiting shutdown, in keeping the in-state guys put.

I always thought we were leading for Walker out of Salisbury NC but heard today that he was going to UGA. Hope it bad info but this guy claims to have a close connection.
