Tigers play at home Thursday, head to Las Vegas this weekend

The Clemson men’s basketball team is coming off a quality win against Detroit Mercy on Sunday. It was a game where we saw Hunter Tyson, Aamir Simms, and Tevin Mack all score double digits as the Tigers won 87-65. Full Story »

I see the only way we can have a decent season...

Is to win at least one of the two games in Vegas including the first game vs. TCU. We don't want to lose to them and play a real bad Wyoming team who will most likely lose to Colorado. We play the Cowboys and win that would really hurt our strength of schedule. Colorado is ranked and has one of the best PGs in the country. That might be a bad match-up for us. TCU has a great guard who came back but is very young.
They key is to win at least one of the two games in Vegas including the first one, win at a rebuilding Minnesota in the ACC-BIG Chg and beat South Carolina at home and only have least one non conference loss. If we can get Baehre, Trapp and Hemenway healthy by January, maybe we can make a decent showing in the ACC. Anybody's thoughts???

I just hope that our Tiger BB team can start to be impressive in ACC play, and get us to the NCAA tournament at season end. Nothing could please me anymore with our Tiger BB than to see Brownell get our BB program headed in the right direction and winning them games we're supposed to win, and quite a few of those where we're not favored to win.

I believe that the renovations of Littlejohn has and will continue to help Brad Brownell recruit and bring in better talent on average over just one elite type player every once in awhile. And I do believe that Brownell is a good BB coach, but we will know for sure in a couple more years as our BB HC, and hopefully his assistants will stay long enough and help Brad to get our BB program winning in the ACC!!!

Yes, actually if you look at our talent level now. About half the roster is from recruits that were 4 star prospects by at least one service, or at least top 100-150 players. After next year over half of the roster will be. The window for Brad is starting to get smaller and he needs to start taking advantage of it. These next two years will tell the tail...
