Swinney likes his focused, talented and physical team

Head coach Dabo Swinney likes his team, and his team likes each other. The Tigers will wrap up August camp with a Thursday scrimmage, take a few days off, and then start off their normal season routine Sunday with the season opener against Georgia just a few weeks away. Swinney said it won’t be long before preparations for the Bulldogs begin. Full Story »

Me either. I’m hoping that means he made some great strides because he got exposed a few times last year and took some very poor angles. That can be expected from a young player though, and I’m hoping he has a breakout year. It seems like we have a ton of 4* corners and safeties and some of them have to break out this year. We’ve never had this much highly ranked talent this deep into our roster at nearly every position and I’m excited to see how it shakes out. Haven’t heard much from Ray Thornton, Joseph Charleston, or Sheridan Jones this camp.
I love the tenacity that Malcolm Greene plays with, he reminds me of a more athletic Ryan Carter. He made some big plays in limited duty last year.

Greene certainly plays with a lot of spirit and energy.

Goodrich has been a game day liability to date. He will show significant improvement or move quickly to the bench.
