She only gave us about one hittable pitch per at bat, and we

couldn't pull the trigger when we saw it. The fact that the ump was giving HER the low strike, while Millie couldn't buy a strike call on the same pitch, didn't help us any, either.

It was a biased strike zone all night. The Ok st pitcher was getting the outside strikes all night. Millie was painting the inside corner in the exact opposite location of the Ok St pitcher and never got the call. It would have shut down the two run inning because she was having to grove pitches b/c she fell behind due to the bad calls. The Ok St pitcher reminded me of Greg Maddox. Not super velocity, but great placement and spin. I think the girls will break through on her if we can get to game three. Hopefully Cagle shuts them down and the bats get going. Get ‘em Tigers!!

It was kind if amazing to watch the ok st pitcher. Shes obviously been doing it a while. She was not overpowering. She threw a first pitch strike, and then had a mad sinker. Most of her pitches were not in the strike zone, but the curve she had on it had our girls chasing all friggin night. Just my opinion, but if they had been able to sit on most of those pitches, game might have been different. Millie "Fire" Thompson was doing spectacularly well, until that 6th inning. Even then, she got a handle on it and stopped the bleeding. She will be phenomenal before the end of her career.

UMP seemed highly influenced by the home crowd

Is that normal for Softball? Vastly different strike zones for the two pitchers.

A good effort. Got out played a little. Home plate umpire's strike zone favored the cowgirls.

All the umps saw the game ONE Way, and that favored the Cowgirls, and the bad calls went to the Tiger Girls!!! Call it an excuse or whatever way anyone wants to call it, but IMO, it was a one sided called game, and our Tiger Girls didn't get favored on the good side....

We will only win tonight if we swing at those perfectly thrown strikes that we laid off of last night and stop swinging at those low "out of the strike zone" pitches - in other words be disciplioned at the plate and not get caught up in playing mind games with the opposing pitcher! We also let plenty of first pitch strikes go by without swinging! Cagle, Logoleo, and Giumbarda can rule tonight!!!!
