You're a 110% correct, everybody doesn't get it, but we have 85 plus at Clemson playing for Dabo that did get it!!!

Reminds me of Nuke Hopkins, Nobody heard of the kid until he committed to Clemson, then all of a sudden everyone wants the guy. Anyway, he is going to be special, he seems like he has Randall's body with Wesco's ball skills. The dude also looked physical blocking on the permiter and he has a nastyness to his game.

weird to compare a five star who was a top 25 best best player in the country who everybody knew about with the 11th best player in SC who most had never heard of...

well they missed on Nuk. Could have been cb or wr. Was on the hoops team for a year as a backup. I dont recall him playing to any degree but it shows what an versatile athlete he is

No doubt you are correct. IIRC, Nuk was a swiss army knife at Daniel playing multiple positions on both sides of the ball. Not focusing on a particular position was a contributing factor to his being somewhat overlooked

He was a 3 star going into his senior year, people on here were complaining they offered a 3 star junior. Bumped up to a 4 star in the summer, and if I remember correctly was only a 5 star after his senior year was over. So yes the guy flew under the radar.

You don't drink water from a mud puddle, you don't pick a wife at the strip club and you don't eat from the dumpsters unless you're desperate and the result is going to be uncomfortable.

Its called character. Not many schools have that. Clemson's coaches want their players to be well rounded and people of integrity. I remember when Brian Mance and a teammate went to Clemson on an official visit. Brian was, and still is, a person of high character. However, his teammate was not. Clemson offered him but not his teammate. He accepted and excelled both in the classroom and on the field. His teammate went to USuC and flunked out his Junior year. Clemson knows how to separate those with character and those who don't have it.

It's what makes boys men and can make a team reach for greatness way beyond a metal trophy.
