he lost his edge and has never recovered and will not even tie Jacks majors wins much less pass it. I doubt he will regain the number 1 ranking.

I cannot think of anything I care less about than Dean Smith or some wife shooting her husband in Columbia and that's been a good chunk of the threads this week. I thought this one was refreshing, relatively speaking.

Sorry dude, it's highly likely that I'm much stronger than you. Not claiming I'm the strongest person or a bad ####, but I am much stronger than the average American male. I was skinny as a youth, and when I see people from my youth that haven't seen me in years they are surprised by how much muscle I have added over the years. So highly unlikely you could do anything to me if challenged me. Most likely I would just shove you to the ground and tell you take your loss like a man without even punching you.

My Mother, who played golf til 83, loved TiGER..and didn't know he was of Color for many years..until we were at the Master's practice round and when he passed by she exclaimed how dark he was..
And I told her of his Dad & Mom's backgrounds, and she said she didn't care since she liked him and he was still her favorite.
No bias from that Lady! LOL.

Tiger Woods is my all time favorite athlete for personal reasons.
The golf heads said years ago that his swing would eventually have to change because it would cause too much back problems. Let's not forget, at The Masters 2013 he had the lead on Saturday when he hit the flag stick on 15, and his ball rolled in the water. And then proceeded to take his drop two yards behind his original spot, said exactly that in the post round interview, and was called in and received a two shot penalty.
I'm not counting him out, he wins one major this year, he'll win 4 more for 19. At least I sure hope so or I'm out $2500.
Also Nicklaus won his last major at 46... I believe SN (Tiger) is 39.

And focus on golf rather than putting his putter in about 20 other bags he may have succeeded. But I think he had last the fans and the edge he use to have on the other players.
Now there is a lot of new talent coming up. Plus Jack was healthier at 39 to 40 than Tiger.

He was "putting around" as you deftly stated, for a long time and was winning. After she 'politely asked him to get the f&#$ out', his game was never the same.
