There were some awfully talented teams “whacking it about” this weekend . . . After starting poorly, our guys finished much better shooting -5 and -4 the last two days . . .
Just thought some may enjoy a respite from the normal fare being offered . . .
Here’s the Link to the clemsontigers.com article in case you missed it: https://clemsontigers.com/clemson-finishes-9th-at-golf-club-of-georgia-collegiate/Clemson Finishes 9th at Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate CLEMSON, S.C.— Kian Rose, Jacob Bridgeman and Kyle Cottam all shot under-par rounds to lead Clemson to a four-under-par team score of 284 in Sunday’s final round of the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate in Alpharetta, Ga. They were the two dominant teams of the tournament. Wake Forest was third at 841 and Tennessee was fourth at 842. Stanford, one of three Pac 12 teams in the national field, was fifth at 846, and host school Georgia Tech was sixth at 850.The tournament at the par 72 Golf Club of Georgia Lakeside Course that measured 7092 yards was the final event of the fall schedule for Jordan Byrd’s first Clemson team. That tournament is played at the same course as next month’s Hero Challenge, a PGA Tour event hosted by Tiger Woods.Rose led Clemson for the 54-hole Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate with a 213 score, three-under par. The native of South Africa had rounds of 74-69-70 in his first career tournament competing in the Clemson lineup. He played as an individual in a tournament earlier in the year. Rose had 12 birdies in the tournament and finished in a tie for 23rd place.Bridgeman had a second straight two-under-par 70 on Sunday, giving him a 215 total for the tournament and a 29th place finish. The senior from Inman, SC had 11 birdies and averaged a team best 4.50 on par five holes for the tournament. Ranked in the top 15 in the latest PGA University rankings, Bridgeman finishes the fall with a team best 69.67 stroke average, best on the team.Cottam shot a one-under-par 71 on Sunday. He improved in each round with scores of 73-72-71 for his even-par 216 total, which tied for 37th in the field of 75 golfers. Time for a nap before starting another week . . . Rest well Tigers and Enjoy Life!!!!!!!

How bout young Mr Kian Rose taking the honors. Thought Andrew did ok for first start and freshman. The two triples bit him on the final round but still had 2 counters... And made some birdies too.
All in all, not bad when your two anchors had a dismal tournament to their standards anyway. Team wise they finished 3rd in # of birdies made... But last in par 4 scoring. Spring will be here before we know it.
Thanks for posting.
