Thoughts on Clemson rb recruiting…

Kylen Webb…in 6A Florida high school..
Played CB, S, and RB…
Averaged 6.2 ypc his senior year - could he play rb if necessary- I’d say so…..

Domonique Thomas …former walk on .. just granted a scholarship….
Peruse his social media …this guy is a workout warrior…exceptionally strong and not taking the opportunity at Clemson lightly - he’s been working on strength, speed, and agility….
3rd and 2 - this guy can get two yards I bet - likewise he’s plenty strong enough to block and seems to have the work ethic to match ….and if he can catch too - that’s even better…


I’d rather have these two - than a portal RB… expecting immediate playing time and possibly disrupting the good chemistry in our RB room..:

My thoughts are that we've lost talented guys to the portal and whiffed on our targets on the recruiting trail over the last year.

CJ needs to have a good year recruiting next year, or it may be time for Dabo to reconsider his staff.

Webb highlights…. Legit rb talent ….

I agree CJ needs to do well next year on recruiting rb targets - and I believe he will..

I’m really speaking specifically to this year though - and the team needs overall - not CJ alone…

We are at risk if we dont pick up a solid RB in this class meaning arriving on campus in 2023. The next class does not arrive until 2024 and would need to contribute immediately which is problematic at best

Play him exclusively at RB and he’s more than legit…
