1. If I were Boise, I would be a little ticked that we have to win to be in. All you hear is talk about how a team shouldn't be punished for playing an extra game. Boise is ranked 10. As of now, they are in. Their only loss is AT #1 Oregon by 3 pts. However, they are never mentioned as "they should stay in if they lose the extra game". That is only SMU that seems to get that benefit. Either you think they are a playoff team, or you don't. If you think they have to win, then don't have them at 10.


2. UGA is one of the more interesting teams to me. I think they could end up anywhere from #1 to #12. If PSU and UGA win, then UGA has as strong of a case as PSU does for the 1 seed, IMO. If they lose, that would be 3 losses. That could drop them to 10-12.

3. If we beat SMU, I think they are screwed. I think Bama bumps them out.

Notre Dame will either be 5 or 6 so don't get your panties in a wad about the SEC. Boise will get a bye if they win as would SMU. We will knock SMU from a bye to out of the Playoffs but the highest we would get is maybe 10th with a win but more likely 11th or 12th.

If Iowa State beats ASU and we beat SMU I reckon we get the last bye.

17 beating 8 should rise above 16 beating 12.

If ASU wins, harder to say.
