A tweet surfaced on Monday that claimed Clemson and Florida State contacted the SEC about pursuing membership in the future. The Clemson Insider reached out to officials in the Clemson athletic department and a spokesman told us the report is inaccurate.

That’s a carefully crafted denial. Clemson may have not reached out but did FSU reach out to the SEC on Clemson’s behalf?

FSU: hey SEC what about bringing us and Clemson to the SEC?

I can’t believe im typing this but I’d rather be in the BIG with some local ACC teams (GT, FSU, VT, UNC, etc. thank the $EC. And I loath the BIG cant count Conference.
