Edward Jones just transferred money for the payment out of our education savings account into a different person's checking account at my credit union.

Oldest step son going to Clemson this Friday. He had a great GPA etc etc so got the palmetto scholarship and some others, 10k a year! Great right!
We get a call a few weeks ago that his scholarships have been canceled bc his father never did his taxes the last several years. He owned a small business that was going under so I assume he didn’t do them bc he would have owed a lot of cash.
We weren’t dropping 10k for his tuition as we weren’t expecting this as he had scholarships. So wife talked w Fathers grandparents about it and they sent the 10k to pay for it since it was their grandsons fault. So crisis adverted but was quite the pain in the ###

All my undergrad was paid for and my masters plus housing. I also Fd around for years in undergrad so they basically paid me to go on tour w Panic.
