Just because FSU and Miami use the portal, they have passed us and we are doomed. I don’t get it , FSU lost so much talent , and got a traveled QB that hasn’t excelled at any school. Now they supposed to be great just because they used the portal.
This will be a great year for Dabo to hush the critics.

why not last year?..........or the year before that??...........or to an extent the year before that???
is this the "line in the sand" year for you or something??
"Hushing the critics" is not winning a pathetic conference...........it is getting to the national title game like he did 2015-2019 to prove that the world of college football really hasn't changed since 2019, and proving that we are NATIONAL ELITE.......not conference elite. On top of the world and it comes to a screeching halt, yet it has everything to do with the "cyclical" nature of things and NOTHING to do with NIL/Portal???

2021 we beat USC and didn't win the ACC........we lost 3 games and beat a mediocre Iowa state team by a TD
2022 we LOST to USC, but won the ACC......and lost ALL THREE OOC P5 games we played. Two by 17+
2023 we beat USC, but lost 4 games.

I am afraid our elite days are behind us unless Dabo changes his portal stance (and I'm not sure we have the financial firepower to compete for the top portal players anyway unless Dabo wants to kick part of his $11mil salary into the kitty), but winning the ACC should almost be a given and will at least get us a seat at the playoff table.

If we win the ACC then we are in the playoffs. What else matters beyond that. These people have to say controversial things in order to get attention in all the noise. I just laugh at their gloom and doom prophesies. We control our destiny if we win. That is all I care about.

Dabo can never hush the critics...they hate Dabo and all the good he stands for...they will never miss a chance to dys him...he has made them all look like fools on so many occasions that you can't count all...when he thanks GOD after a game Findbum shutters...CBS has arrhythmia and ESPN has to console Mickey Mouse...why do you think they consort with that Godless bunch of crab thieves in Hallatassey...Imagine if Jole Klapp is wrong...GOD forbid!

I really hate the "whoa is me, everybody hates us" victim-card nonsense. The reason there is doubt about Clemson is the decline on the field. We lost 10 games the last three seasons, including a 4-loss 2023. Yet, we are preseason top-15 and were picked 2nd in the ACC. If we want to change the narrative of a declining programs we can do that with our play on the field. It's simple, go win games.

Will do. I've trained extra hard this offseason and also have an extra year of experience, same as last year, but something is different in the air. Instead of feeling entitled, I am hungrier and have a chip on my shoulder. UGhA better watch out.

And this is why I don't tune into any tv with sports talking heads talking. I'll turn ESPN on again when Clemson is playing but have found that life no even seeing those channels on YouTube TV is so much nicer. NBC is off for the foreseeable future as well. Over the years I have refrained from watching pre game shows as well and life is much nicer without them
