Theres a good chance the SECCG loser will have 3 losses

That’s who they want in the playoffs. An SEC title is supposed to be the most prestigious according to the new persuasion but they want a loss there to be meaningless as well. A loss in another conference title game is “part of the playoffs” and a knock against.

And the SEC is so good, a loss is better than a win in another conference. So, when Clemson beats SC, somehow SC should be ranked ahead of Clemson.

Am I getting all of it right?

Seriously, the Big 2 should just have their own playoff and put the final nail in the coffin of college football.

oh its on its way don't worry. I give it three more season, little bit more expansion, and they will have their own playoff.

This would be a bad look.

We could beat Pitt and El CID, lose tontge Coots, and back into the ACCCG with another Miami conference loss.

If we win it, we would be 10-3 and might not be one of the Top 5 conferences champs, then miss the playoffs.

That would SUCK.

We need to win out and let the chips fall where they may otherwise.

If we win the ACC we would be in. Even at 10-3. If a P5 conference champion is outside the top 12 it would be ranked 12th.

I do see what you are saying now. If the MAC champion is higher than the ACC champ for instance, then they would be seeded higher and possibly push out an ACC champ.

I’d be fine with an 9-4 SEC champ if they won the conference. I mean the at-large bids being retconned, loss wise, to make the minimum SEC/B1G teams make the playoffs.

SECCG loser will be in the playoffs.

Mark it down.

Chances are better than 50/50 that team, even with 3 losses, will get a home playoff game.

They are ranking teams in a system that guarantees the top Group of 5 team stays outside the top 12, there’s only one ACC team in the top seven (1 champ each from B1G, SEC, ACC + 4 Big2 for 1st round home games), and a possible BigXII team who is ranked low like the top ACC team. It’s such an intricate scam by these fools.

No, you are smoking something funky. After we beat Pitt, The Citadel and S Carolina, there is absolutely no way the Coots will be ranked ahead of those. I know you kids have new math but 10-2 beats the stuffing out of 8-4 even in new math.
