The Pontiffs Say Clemson Plays in a Weak Conference

Let's see how Clemson's football record stacks up against the other CFP top teams and their conference foes since 2014.
ACC - Clemson 64 - 7 plus 2 Nattys
SEC - Alabama 66 - 6 plus 3 Nattys
B1G10 - O31-0 66 - 5 plus 1 Natty
Big12 - OU 62 - 12 No Natty (4 conference losses came in 2014)
Just for giggles and because one of our Bulldog trolls will chime in, UGA 51 - 14 in SEC with 1 Natty
Looks like all the conferences have a dominate team but it's Clemson that takes the brunt of media hits.

want. Year in and year out, the ACC stacks up toward the bottom of the Power 5.
Though, at times in the past, the ACC Atlantic has been as good as anyone. 2016 with Clemson, Louisville, FSU, and State, comes to mind.

Ponder this my friends. What do you think Clemson's record would be in the SEC, B1G10, or Big12 since 2014? I'm thinking it would pretty close to what it is now and probably better in the PAC12.
IMO, Bama, O31-0, and OU would have similar records to their current records if they played in the other conferences. We won't ever know, the point is there are teams that just dominate their conferences.

SEC West or Big 10 East.
All I can say is I believe in the Tigers. O31-0 and Bama have dominated the B1G10 East and SEC West, respectively, and the Tigers have pretty much owned O31-0 and have played about even with Bama. That is proof enough, no matter what anyone thinks of the ACC, Clemson would be good in any conference and all the SEC and B1G10 hype is, well, just hype.

play Bama, Auburn, LSU, A&M, MSU, and Ark every year with half on the road, we'd have accumulated more losses than we had.
We had losses in 2016 to Pitt, in 2017 to Cuse, etc. We'd have a few more in SEC West.
