It happened in MLB sort of, one player played for both teams in the same game

A player played for a team and the game got postponed due to weather and when the game was rescheduled he had been traded to the other team and played for them to conclude the game

May be Germans, but recently in MLB, a player played for both teams in one game!

I say the next best thing in sports and entertainment is the downfall of internet ticket sellers like Ticketmaster, Stubhub, Seat Geek, and many others who buy up multiple seats and jack them up to falsely inflate the ticket prices
