way up to where he is ne of the higher up pole dancers, but he occasionally goes out and probably will for these storms. They make absolute BANK on these situations. Double or Triple time and get paid sitting in a hotel room. They work REALLY hard though, sometimes. And it can be dangerous.

At 40 I wouldn't want to be doing that anymore, but at 25 I could see that.

With material, equipment, and manpower requirements. Planners do the damage assessments of different service areas up front. It’s crazy - as an example for one WO, they may deploy like 8 vehicles, 20 poles, 5 transformers, wire and 20 people. Out of one staging yard, they may issue deploy resources for 50 to 100 or more WOs each shift. Priorities are life safety, hospitals / nursing homes and then largest block of paying customers. Info goes on a website that produces pretty good estimates when service will be restored to different areas.

Definitely got their act together….
