I just graduated with a 4.0 w/ my masters in IE. I can tell you the program doesn’t teach you take risk. TE is a fine Engineer. He is a not a football coach. Engineers are conservative and very analytical. This is TE’s problem.

Interesting take.

Would be interesting to compare the Jeff Scott / Tony E success vs Tony E alone success?

Also look for any overall Offense decline after Jeff Scott left the staff?

Perhaps Tony E needs the partner, a Batman Robin thing vs Superman, to help build the right plan and play

Yes, he was in the private sector when he was hired (Michelin), he's not a coaching lifer and it's probably not his first love. Wonder if he puts in the extra time during the off season to study more innovative offenses-
