Tait Reynolds- Week 2 Update

I went to see Tait Reynolds and Queen Creek on Friday night vs. Casteel. Last week's opening game was pretty easy but this week's game was much more competitive. Queen Creek fell behind early and was down 17-10 at the half. Casteel extended that lead in the 2H and Queen Creek found themselves down 32-19 early in Q4. This is when Tait turned things up a notch.

Tait led his team on 2 long scoring drives that gave them the lead at 33-32 with ~2 minutes left in the game. Unfortunately, Casteel stormed right back with a TD but missed the extra point, taking a 38-32 lead with less than a minute to go.

Once again, Tait brought his team back with a great final drive to score with just seconds left to complete a 39-38 victory. Here is a quote from MaxPreps:

"Tait Reynolds was a one-man wrecking crew for Queen Creek as he rushed for 157 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also threw for 210 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave him a new career high- in total yards."

Things get a little tougher this week as Queen Creek goes on the road against Perry, which produced 49er starting QB, Brock Purdy. Perry just dominated San Diego's #2 ranked team and #20 in California so this one should be interesting. Perry is currently ranked #10 in Arizona.
