Yeah, I'm late to the table. Unbelievable that Carson shot -5 and fell 2 spots. First day -1 got him. But he only had 2 bogeys for the week. That's great for him. He missed some birdies within 10 feet but he made several good up and down from rough/sand.
Ben didn't drop as much as I thought. He's at 84 in FedEx. Carson jumped 8 spots to 105. Was hoping he'd crack 100... but he's playing good.
Keep making cuts young man. Our other golfers have work to do.
I was just looking at the upcoming schedule and we may not see some of our Tigers over the next several weeks. Of course, this week is the PGA Championship and while Lucas is currently the 5th alternate, it is highly unlikely that five more people withdraw. Then, the next two weeks are the Charles Schwab Challenge and the Memorial Tournament. They are both limited field invitational events that have a field size of 120. Plus, the Memorial is a designated event. Without some sponsor exemptions, some of our Tigers like Byrd, Stanley, and Trahan may have the rest of the month off.
