at the moment.........similar to the Will Taylor hype. Turner will be an elite player if he's only half as good as fans/radio homers are acting............gotta see it....here's to hoping.

I think the hype with Turner started with is 4.4 40, then the ACC championship and orange bowl where he made spectacular catches. He is one of the fastest players on the team. If he can stay healthy, he will be a serious threat

I am not listening to Qualk, so have no idea what he is saying. Hunter was special and we may never have another receiver with his skills. It it too early to know about Turner, he has shown flashes and is a very good athlete. I have high hopes for Cole and think he will do very well.

they are both white and that’s about it. Renfro was the ultimate route runner and true slot. He was elusive/slippery but not a blazer. Turner is bigger and his asset is that he is extremely fast but is more a deep threat guy. Renfro has had his college career, Turner hasn’t. He’s got a lot of football left and we’ll just have to see how it plays out.

He may be 25 before he actually plays an extended period of time lol. I mean the flashes in the ACC championship game were awesome though against a suspect secondary, but gave us a glimmer of hope. I really hope he can stay healthy and prove me wrong this year as a consistent downfield threat.

Renfro just had the quick reflexes and the ability to contort his body to make catches the way very, very few others do. We won't likely see another like him in a long time.

I caught the end of his high pitched rant and him and the other dude were going off on somebody saying Turner wasn’t that good and that Muse was better….it triggered them something bad. They’re not going to risk word getting back that they didn’t stand up for one of the Turner kids.

I listened and the texter said Cole Turner wasn’t even that good and that muse was better. Cole not being good is as a ridiculous statement. Him not being as good as Muse is an opinion. I think it’s a bad take but that’s my opinion. Cole Turner was dang good safety. Definitely better in coverage than muse. Muse was better in the run. They argued their point like everyone else on this board argues theirs. Triggered is a bit of a stretch.

I didn't listen to his show today, so I don't have the context, but if he did in fact make that comparison I would also have to disagree. But contrary to what some of y'all are saying, I'd actually like to advocate for Cole some here. We all know what type of player Renfrow is. He's not very fast or explosive, but he's a great route runner and has exceptional hands. I'd also argue that he has better strength than he gets credit for and some deceptive shiftiness in the open field. Cole Turner, on the other hand, is a burner. He's got great long speed and is probably the fastest player on the team. I know some of y'all think he's overrated, but the truth is, we've really barely gotten to even see him play. In 2022, he didn't really break onto the scene until the last game of the season, and prior to that he got very little playing time or targets. Then, in 2023, he missed the entire year due to injury. So before we all write him off, let's remember that he's barely even gotten to play in a meaningful role yet. I'm not saying he'll be as good as Hunter, but I think the guy has some potential. Let's not give up on him before we've even really seen him play yet.

The topic of who can be the next Hunter Renfrow was just something to engage fans. They know, and we all know finding another Renfrow is not likely. He mentioned Turner as a possibility. I think that’s as good a choice as any. Some of yall need to lighten up. It’s just preseason conversation.

The discussion was who is a player that was a walk on or barely received a scholarship and was like player around 1000 in recruiting services. A true diamond in the rough. AW was a 4* and had plenty of D1 offers. Doesn’t qualify for their discussion
