People get its a law. It is the misuse of its implementation, and the unfair advantage it creates for many schools that don’t have the resources to compete, that completely changes the balance and parity in college athletics.

The unintended consequences have yet to be addressed and renders all but the largest programs to a considerable competitive disadvantage.
