speaking of Carhartt, new winter hat working out well.

before Christmas, Tractor Supply gave you a $20 gift card with a min $100 purchase of Carhartt. I wanted a new vest, which was about $80, and looked for something to get as close as possible to the $100 total. I settled on this hat. Been great so far, the ear flaps come down plenty far enough to cover your ears, and the face covering folds up in the hat, so you always have it with you if you need it. I've used it a few times. Mine's grey, I didn't see the orange available at that time.

belts all together.
Sometimes I'll throw a pair of zip ties between some belt loops on my work pants, but I'll pretty much only wear belts when I go out. At work, I've pretty much gone to sweatpants under coveralls and when I'm around the house, a good old pair of carhartt overalls usually bedrape me.

Got Carhartt canvas pants I've had for twenty years. An old vest hanging in the warehouse got to be over 30 years old. It's so fried it's artwork now. Got some really nice socks from them to. They are wearing well. Get most of my stuff from Tyler Bros. in Wagener.

Wear the safety yellow one on my dog walks in da mawn, wear the navy one if I need it when going out in public.
With the weather lately, both have been used a lot.

of their products that I don't like.
The flipdown part of the hat is chincy on my big head.
When the flipdown part is folded up under the beanie, it feels weird on my head.
The beanie without the flipdown part makes it look like a leather football helmet....
It doesn't fit under a hardhat particularly well, or at all.
The trim that goes around the flipdown part came unstitched very shortly after I bought it.
TBH, I hate the hat and gave it to one of my kids after I had tried to wear it a bunch of times. Maybe my head is just too big.

stuff that I can remember. No reason that I can think of, I just never seemed to end up with any of their goods. Based on the glowing reviews here, I'd certainly be willing to pick some up but I just don't need anything. Since the whole 'oh my sweet Mothra we're all gonna die from the deadly pandemic virus so we'll work from home' era, I'm pretty sure I've only bought 3 articles of clothing in thelast two years...two shirts to wear with ties and/or sport jackets for all the weddings I had last spring/summer, and a pair of Sperry crocs-type shoes that were on clearance at Academy a few months back.
