Sorry I haven't been posting much the past few weeks...

After being named our JV program's Defensive Coordinator this summer I went right to work putting together our defensive package for the 2024 season.
Thank you for all the support many here gave me last season when I was named DE/TE coach. And the messages and notes I received after being promoted to O-line/D-line coach mid season were amazing.

Are you going 3-4-4, or 4-3-4, maybe hybrid since it is the JV squad and you can try something new and start a new craze in how to play defense.

But when my little league All Star team made it to state, I did get to meet Monte Lee. I have a photo of me standing beside him as he addresses our team. I'm glad that he landed on his feet.

My HS defensive coordinator used a metal whistle. But we never heard it, only felt it.
He'd whack us across the back of the helmet with it when irked, and across our hamstrings when irate.
He lacked compunction and was not much of a defensive strategist for that matter.
I hope your whistle is applied with more compassion.

Hopefully, you achieve the varsity position at pre-school coach this season. You get a bigger whistle when you step up.

now that I am the offensive coordinator at the HS program that is 3rd on your program's schedule. I have been a adding a few new wrinkles, and dialing up some plays to exploit mistmatches. I would wish you the best of luck, but I have no intention of lending you any advantage.
Oh, and Dont expect me to shake your hand after the game unless we win.
