to the top of the pack over 14 years, but you could also argue
Gary Williams Roy Williams Mike Krzyzewski) Jim Boeheim Tony Bennett Jim Larrañaga Mike Brey and Leonard Hamilton
Retired over the last 15 years

we have been winning with inferior talent, minus a couple of guys stepping up and having monster years, albeit those are all amazing coaches. Latkin keeps this up heading into the postseason and we will be a nightmare to match up against.

Well credit to Brad for being the coach in the ACC to truly step it up in conference play
Hubert Davis and Jon Scheyer have shown that they can have great teams, and Kevin Keates made a final 4 last year.
There will be multiple ACC teams that make a NCAAT run this year. And it once again will shut people like you up.

Yeah, but what's a run? Win one game, or in Pitts case win to get the 64 and then win another? Because I think that's their ceiling.
Us, dook, and Louisville may make the 16. I guess that'd qualify. I think dook will be the only final 4, but even that might be a stretch. It's all about the seeding and what team gets hot.

Looking like probably 4 teams at the most, with Wale Forest being projected as a 10-seed right now by Jerry Palm
I think Clemson is severely underrated.
You would have enough reasons to say that Clemson is a final 4 possibility.
With the experience from last year, and now having a better team in my opinion, it’s more than possible.
Duke is a title contender. Hands down, and they could even win. But we beat them. And Kentucky.
Louisville is a very good team to me. Every time I turn them on they are killing who they play it seems. Except a hot GT team.
My point is, quality over quantity at the least. The three strong ACC teams solidly in right now have a true shot at some very deep runs. As long as we don’t have to play either in an early round.

I wouldn't say he slowly did. Just the last 3 years he's taken off. Most wanted a change after 23. So that's 3/15. It was a yo yo until the 23 team, and that ended in disaster. I'd argue he skyrocketing the last 2 years.

So you're saying all these guys saw the writing on the wall and realized they wouldn't be able to compete against Brownell's tiger teams in the future? You may be on to something here!

In my opinion, Brownell has been a fine coach since he has been here but the big change came when Graham Neff became AD and fully funded the sport. Getting an additional court for practice will help but increasing the budget, especially to enable Brad to hire and keep some high quality assistants has made a huge difference. You must add to that the work Brad has done in cultivating NIL money and his incredible ability to use the portal to fill holes and do it with players that fit Clemson and love the school by the time they leave.
No other coach has had this opportunity to compete but it is Brad who has made it happen. Remember that Clemson turned down an invitation to the first NCAA tournament because it conflicted with Spring Practice.

Your humor is great. Take that show on the road! 🤣
It’s kinda true. Brownell has learned to not drop as many layups. Dabo had to learn the same. I’m hoping the Brad has truly turned that corner. He’s learned to win the big games.
This era of Clemson basketball has been what I’ve been begging for since we did it in the 90’s. We were a Tate George miracle away from the Final Four and who knows what could have been that year?!

And it's sound thinking.
It's equally sound thinking to say that maybe Brownell represents the group of coaches who are ready to fill the voids left by all those coaches you named.
I am not prepared to anoint Brownell as one of those coaches, mind you. It depends on whether this team can win February, the ACC tourney, and make a run to the F4.
Anything less is just another almost/could have/if only year.
