The Tigers and Owls are no strangers to each other when it comes to playing in this tournament as this will be the forth time Clemson and Temple have played one another down in Charleston.In 2008 the Tigers beat the Owls in the Championship game in the first year that tournament was held 76-72,in the 2013 opening day game the Tigers beat the Owls 72-58 and in 2017 the Tigers lost to the Owls in the Championship game 67-60.The Tigers have made the Championship game in all 3 previous trips to Charleston winning 1 and losing 2(lost to UMASS in the title game in 2013 62-56)

Yes, last time in loss to Temple in championship still made sweet sixteen.
