I wonder if he decided to hang it up himself? Probably got some inquiries from teams, but likely it would be for a lot less money than he made from his second contract. He did get to a second deal with the Raiders, right?

I'm looking for the patriots to at least talk to him after dropping JuJu. Hunter's route-running ability is a problem for defenses and JuJu was mostly a bust last year. HR would be an upgrade.

He came to my work facility with a guy who I think was his brother or brother in law a few weeks ago. The guy owns a steel recycling service. Hunter was walking with him and talked to some of us in management. Maybe he is gonna be an investor or something else in business. The concussions and getting beat up probably not worth it. He has done well and is not an idiot. He is set for life.

I personally thought he would try to go 2 more years, but now with the reports from posters i'm seeing on here of him being in upstate and looking into possible business etc, i'm now thinking he has one foot out thee door.
but being a 2 star recruit, making 25 million, playing 5 years and making a pro bowl wow he maxed out, only grad jarret maxed more as a 2 star. with guys like aaron donald playing 10 years, patrick willis 9 years. those are high level guys so 5 years may be right for Hunter.
If this is it for him, he did great, i would say he was never quite the same after the hit by his former clemson teamate, still bothers me a bit he didn't reach out a little more, not the day of the game but i mean after that, i think Josh Mcaniels being a horrible coach and a new QB plus the raiers trying to force feed there new WR too much also hurt hunter.

and no one wants to take a chance on signing you. He's def high risk as far as legal troubles are concerned... but at the end of the day, not many can say they were a Pro Bowl level WR in the NFL.
