I’m a Yankees fan and they are just bad. For the money these players and coaches make, no excuse for their half-ass attempts at baseball. They play like they don’t even care. Pathetic.

Sorry you are a Yanks fan but they lost me when the Steinbrenners took over and bought everybody.

+1. That’s a fair assessment.

You seem like a levelheaded Yankees fan, so you’re alright with me.

I guess all the years of listening to Mr. Yankee Plyler in the mornings just made me sick of all Yankee fans. Guy doesn’t even talk about them anymore. Wonder why?

I don’t like Boone as a coach. I understand going away from Girardi cuz things got stale, but I personally liked Joe. He seems like a really good person, and he does have baseball knowledge. Boone hit a big HR against the Sox and worked on Sunday Night Baseball. Does that make him true manager material? I just think NYY coulda made a much better hire than that. Joe Maddon seems to like working for an underdog, but I woulda picked him up in a Brinks truck and drove him back to NY after he departed from the Cubs.

Been a Yanks fan for a while. Lived in Cooterville for over twenty years and everybody was a Red Sox fan, because of Jackie Bradley Jr.(eye roll).
Love the tradition and history of the Yankees. Past few years have been rough, though. They need to fire Cashman(he’s one of the reasons Jeter left), Boone, trade some of those overpaid yahoos, let Gardner go(pains me to say that because he’s from Holly Hill), and bring in younger, more passionate guys, hitting and pitching. Top to bottom take out the trash re-build. Too many people too comfortable to care if they win or lose.

I’d love for Maddon to be brought in.
