Say what you will but I think the whole team has gotten softer. But for sure the defense is mirroring the softness of Wes. Brent would’ve chewed those players new a$$holes last night with the effort they put on the field. I know dabo sees it but is he going to make a change like he did with the hire of Matt Luke and Riley, or is he very close to stepping away. I wouldn’t be surprised if dabo walked away because this is not the college football dabo once loved. I don’t know I’m just rambling.

I think most knew when Brent left , you cannot replace the best defensive coordinator in the coach with an even better defensive coordinator, so there was going to be a decline. I’m just not sure exactly Dabos thought process with the hiring all the unproven assistants he hired at a program that at the time could have literally went and got anyone they wanted . Dabo actually had a blank check to go get the best and wouldn’t do it

I couldn’t agree more with the last couple sentences. BUT the Elliot and Scott hires worked but I think they looked so great due to recruiting unbelievable players. I mean 2015-2019 this team was LOADED with dudes.

Not as a defense got softer, Goodwin constantly gets out schemed. His defense’s can’t set the edge either, which is just a mentality

Seems weird that you capitalize everyone else's name but not his.
You're not entirely wrong about BV, but I remember several games where he did not make any adjustments until halftime.
You're right about him coaching and expecting better from the players. We're not tackling well. The basics are lost on some of our LBs and DBs. How many times did we try to tackle around the shoulders? No fundamentals.

Just being lazy, I do the same thing when texting the wife and spelling our girl’s names. It’s not throwing shade towards Dabo.

Who knows how things will play out.
I wouldn’t be shocked to see Dabo walk away. I can’t believe it’s been enjoyable the last few years.
If he stays, I see more staff changes. But that’s only part of the issue. Talent and roster management aren’t easily fixed.

Rambling is right. V enables got his butt handed to him several times when he was here. I understand people are frustrated, but just making up dumb stuff isn't the answer.
Do you know we got run over? It's because we don't have Christian Wilkins, Dexter Lawrence, Austin Bryant, etc. up front anymore. That's why.

I agree the players aren’t as good as years past but they don’t have that fire and intensity that was once on the field. They look defeated the entire 4th quarter. There was no drive or fight to try to win.
