That when Clemson or ACC teams have played SEC teams in regular games and particularly in bowl games over the past 10+ years that SEC teams seem to be a bit better overall..
Which leads me to think: 1. They have better athletics 2. play a harder schedule especially in conference 3. Have better array of coaches..
Thus when they go up against an ACC team they are a bit stronger across the board and the ACC team has to really play a little better game to win..
Which leads me into tomorrow’s game and reservations in that the Coot FB Team has played & won several good contests while almost beating AL, Tam & possibly another one (Ga?)..thus Tigers have got to elevate their game which is gonna be tuff what with Oline beat-up and going against an aggressive Dline.
What thinks you, gun toting Tiger?

We have been better than them all minus Bama & dawgs lately the last decade.
Little ole has played way way above our heads, fans need to appreciate it.
I remember the late 90’s-Dabo, it wasn’t pretty for a good while!
The good Lord has been good to Clemson, because we had faith and a man who strives to be better each day in everything despite his failures like we all have.

Call yourself a Clemson fan, Bill. SEC generally may be better I don’t know but I’m not an ACC fan. Seems as though we’ve fared pretty well against the sec. We beat the poop out of “the best team ever” in Alabama and won another NC against them. We have beaten SC 7 out of the last 8 I think? Yes Georgia tech will lose to Georgia and Florida state will lose to Florida but on an individual basis, Clemson, who is all I care about has fared pretty well.

Simply by saying that over the years I have seen good ACC teams with even better records fight for their lives or lose to a SEC team thus it has seemed that their teams were stronger..maybe for the 3 reasons I gave above.

I agree. I’ve been around a while myself and every year Fl St and G Tech would get beat by Florida and Georgia, even when they weren’t that good. Same with the bowl games year in and year out. That said I just think Clemson isn’t that good this year, is all banged up and has failed to manage the clock or adjust at the half. That’s what will decide this game.

Don't really care about weak ACC teams. Clemson is all there is and we are a program similar to any-ANY--SEC team
