I think he is trying to be a dictator and wants to control everything. The SEC is not as special as he thinks it is. That conference has more trash teams than any conference and they are not as special as they think they are. Of course old elephant ears will totally disagree but I don’t care. The SEC can just go its separate way and want be missed.

Old elephant ears was actually critical of the SEC yesterday. He disagreed with the SEC's plans to expand the playoffs and have four automatic bids assigned to the conference.

The SEC has so many Thug fans and players, they are rightly worried about fights, shootings or someone getting stabbed in the crowd. A legitimate concern, and a likely outcome in some opposing venues, particularly some in the SEC (and elsewhere).
Not likely to happen with Clemson Fans at home for football, basketball, or other sports.....
The Duke coach was worried about his players getting hurt after our win last week. I have never heard of an opposing player getting hurt by a Clemson fan, even by accident. On the other hand, I have seen numerous Coot fans starting fights in the stands at Clemson. NC State had a killing in the parking lot.
Comparatively, Clemson fans are having a good time not looking for a fight or trying to hurt someone. In fact, MANY Texas A&M fans said Clemson was a great place for a game, and they were treated very well when visiting, even though we won the games! And the fans in College Station could not have been more accommodating when we played there. Treat the LSU fans well at Clemson but be prepared in Baton Rouge.
On the other hand, some fans are such jerks, I will not go to a game in their stadium, particularly with a CLEMSON Car (flags, stickers, decals, etc...). Particularly in Athens or Columbia...
We were treated fine by Texas fans in the playoffs, and I expect the same when we play at SMU. Some schools have fans and players with Class, and others do not!

What if you lose at home and your fans then storm the field? Does the winning team still forfeit?
