Scar tshirt story

I was in the lobby of my assisted living facility the other day when the UPS driver came in and saw my Clemson shirt. He said “You're wearing the wrong shirt!” I said “If you have a minute I would like to tell you a story about the South Carolina t shirt I was given.” He said “Go for it!” I began “Several years I was given a South Carolina shirt from a South Carolina grad. Naturally I didn't want it so I put in a care package I was sending to my nephew serving in Afghanistan. After a few weeks, we were talking on Skype and he asked “Why did I send a South Carolina shirt?” I explained it was a gift that I didn't want it and sent it to him. Well he said “He didn't want it and nobody in his company wanted it.” I said “Why don't you give it to someone in a village over there.” A few weeks later we were back on Skype and he said “ It was the strangest thing. I took the shirt and tried to give it to the people in the local village and no one wanted it. So then we went on a patrol in Taliban territory and I left the shirt on a fence for the Taliban. Yesterday we were on patrol in Taliban controlled territory again and there was that ###### shirt still on the fence! Even the Taliban didn't want it!”

The UPS guy said as he left “Next time give the shirt to me. I will take it.” smh!

If I was your nephew I would have used it as toilet paper. The porter potties over there have really crappy toilet paper. No pun intended.
