This may sound counterintuitive, but I believe that we could use some two back sets to help with the running game and in pass protection. Hammer Head is your short yardage back, pass protector, and lead blocker. Mafah/ Easy E are your primary runners with Easy E able to catch passes out of the backfield.
We used this some last year with Shipley and Mafah, but seem to have gotten away from that this year. Just a thought.

5 offensive linemen and a QB makes 6 guys on offense.

1 RB makes 7.

Wesco, Moore, Williams, and Briningstool

One of them leaves the field for every play that Keith Adams Jr comes in to be in a 2 back set.

My vote is to keep the 4 above players on the field every single play instead of adding a second unreliable RB to the field.

They actually put two backs in for the USuC game, I believe. It wasn't all that frequently, but they have the play in the playbook.
