Guess you'll leave off the next chart which shows hospitalizations are 4x higher in unvaccinated groups

Also I believe the UK has something like 80%+ vaccinated a over 30. So inevitably statistics will show higher percentages because the pool is significantly larger.

So for the last time, we are not saying the vaccine PREVENTS infection (though it does reduce risk). What it does is substantially lower the risk of serious infection and hospitalization.

If only 2 are unvaxxed, their rate might be zero. Stats!***

Arguing against vaccines at this point is willful stupidity.***

Who's arguing against vaxs?

You assume too much.
I argue for freedoms.

Oh, and I'm vaxed and my whole family is vaxed and we all got covid.

Seeing as the argument for mandatory vax was to protect others, that point is moot

If people choose to risk their lives, that is their choiice

What does posting misinformation have to do with promoting

freedom? Only asking because I'm asking.

So someone wants the freedom to not get a vax? So somehow posting vaccine misinformation will enhance that "freedom" somehow? I'm not getting the freedom connection, that somehow makes spreading lies acceptable in the name of freedom/socialisms/communism/terrorism/environmentalism/etc.

Really it's the most disheartening thing I've noticed. Republicans, conservatives, good people are posting garbage, and they will tell you it's garbage. Then tell you they're pro vaccine, right after posting anti-vax propaganda they know is a lie, and they're fine with that because choosing not to get vaxxed is a freedom?

Is this any better than the leftists who post garbage about global warming/climate change, knowing it's incorrect, only to claim they're pro environment and posting false information somehow furthers that objective? Don't get me wrong, I know the information is false, but we have to save the planet kinda crap?

How about doctors and hospitals? Should THEY have the FREEDOM to refuse to treat stupid people? I'm sure they'd LOVE that freedom. All the drunk drivers, selfie/social media stunts gone wrong, anti-vaxxers, I mean they could really whittle down their workload.

Lenin promoted communism to promote FREEDOM among the workers who were used and abused by rich industrialists. And on that premise, he started a revolution and communism. Freedom has proven throughout history to be the most effect seed for tyranny. French Revolution says hello btw. Committee of Public Safety? Lol. Hitler FREED the Germans from oppressive WW1 reparations.

When republicans start to act like democrats.....SMH

The study cites the efficacy estimates.

Uktiger deconstructed it pretty well, but I'm simply curious as to how you came across that link? Is that a person you personally follow? Were you pointed to the tweet from somewhere else? Are you a big follower of Canadian politics and their "journalism?"

Aren't 40 and above well over 80% vaccinated....

in the UK? (loaded question...they are)

I think these stats might be misleading, hence the note on that sheet that says:

"** Interpretation of the case rates in vaccinated and unvaccinated population is particularly susceptible to changes in denominators and should be interpreted with extra caution."

If you read the entire study, it shows clearly the positive impact that high levels of vaccination has had in the UK.

Did you read it by chance?
