Amos was also the dad in a short-lived sitcom in the mid 90's called 704 Hauser, which was kind of a spin-off of All in the Family. He and his family lived in the house Archie Bunker and his family had lived in years earlier, but there were never any references to the Bunkers, the Jeffersons, or the Meatheads.
