My brother and I were there and in the parking lot trying to figure out how to convince our parents to let us come back on Monday when someone told us what had happened. Earlier in the week, Bob had given me a golf ball. Wish I still had it.

RIP comes from Latin literally means, "may he begin to rest in peace". RIP is a prayer for the dead which is rooted in Catholic tradition, not the Word of God.
