That is two of the great ones passing a way this week.Some where up in heaven about right now at a beautiful pristine country club course both Billy Casper and Charlie Sifford are enjoying a peaceful 18 hole round of Golf together.

Billy was devote mormon. Great putter though used a wristy stroke like most back then.

old guy for Augusta, I saw him bounce a tee shot off a tree on #4 and into woman's blouse. 12 yr old me was standing about 10 ft away from him when he giggled at the USGA official, "I don't think I oughta play it as it lies."

Said lady took the ball out of her shirt, Billy apologized, signed the ball, and she hugged him. There's a masters memory.
