They came in when Knaak was struggling, and held OKState to 1 run over the last 5 innings

I wouldn't even say he "struggled." he looked as good as advertised to start, but I think those two missed calls and the homer rattled him. Its early in the season, so I think he will be alright.

Yeah, he didn't struggle. Oklahoma St as we know is always good. We're better. But they'll score a lot of runs this year.

No doubt. Mahlstedt really shut it down. 6 out save with no drama was very impressive. Saves Garris, Samol, Titsworth for tomorrow

Yup, this was the difference in the game. OK State gave up too many free bases and it cost them. Our pitchers only conceded one walk. That’s how you win a tight ball game.
