Despite all the chaos of NIL and transfer portals, college football TV ratings are thriving. Fans just want to be entertained like the scene from the Gladiator. Unless you have an allegiance to your school, most viewers don't seem to care if college football becomes a tiered system.

With all the upsets that have taken place this year, I myself have loved watching these matchups. Ive followed teams other than Clemson more closely than ever just because of the status quo being shaken up and teams like Bama getting stomped by OU. Its all exciting to watch with the mindset that anyone can win. I used to never watch Bama unless they were playing a Georgia caliber team. I agree that the NIL and portal is going to over time ruin the sport but for now im going to enjoy it while I can.

dullards are upset. The rest of the population has no problem with where CFB is headed. It's past time these kids were compensated for the billions they generate. Control of it all is coming. The portal allows them freedom which they deserve. It also creates much needed parity. Conference realignment has been much needed to once and for all detach the deadweight of teams that shouldn't be competing at the highest level and create meaningful games throughout the entire season.

The teams have scholarships that need to be funded. Let’s see how this looks in five years when boosters are fed up or priced out and quit donating.

Pretty soon folks are going to be priced out and the only teams competing and dominating their conferences are those with huge NIL trusts and large alumni bases willing to fork over tons of money. It is already quickly becoming a system of haves and have nots, and pretty soon college football will be even more predictable then it was prior to NIL and the portal. Mark my words it is coming, right now you are seeing the adjustment period, once it settles you will have the same 15 or so teams competing for the Natinal Title.
